Ashley
Hi! I’m Ashley, and it is so nice to meet you here. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and for considering adoption for your baby. I can only imagine how deeply personal and emotional this journey is for you. I admire your strength, courage, and love as you move through it.
My greatest hope is that, through reading more about me, you will feel the warmth, joy, and stability that fill my home and see the kind of love and laughter that I would be honored to share with your child.
My heart is wide open. I want you to know how much I respect and honor the love you have for your baby. If I have the privilege to become your child’s mother, I promise that they will grow up surrounded by endless love, encouragement, and the same steady support that has been the foundation of my entire life.
If you are open to it, I’d love to learn about you and your dreams, too. I am ready to walk down this path together with you.
With love and gratitude,
Ashley

My Adoption Story & Promise to You
Becoming a mother has been my lifelong dream. The path has taken turns I never expected, but I know I am exactly where I’m meant to be and so very ready to welcome your child through adoption.
A couple of years ago, I became a foster mother to a beautiful baby boy named Maliky. He came to me as an infant, and for sixteen wonderful months, I was “Mama”. We shared morning snuggles, bedtime stories, dance parties in the kitchen, many milestones, and endless silliness. When he was reunited with his birth parents, it was one of the hardest moments of my life – and yet, I was so proud of all that his parents had accomplished. That experience deepened my love for motherhood and confirmed that my heart, home, and life are meant to nurture a child.
My promise to you is simple and unwavering: Your child will always know love. They will grow up with patience, joy, encouragement, and laughter every single day. I will protect them, support their dreams, and honor their story, including your part in it, with pride and compassion. Your child will always know that their life began with love, and they will be raised in that same spirit, surrounded by family and community, and a life full of adventure.
About Me
I am someone who loves deeply, finds joy in the small things, and never takes anything for granted. I work as a leader in a company that values family and community and is very supportive. My work lets me help people, lead projects, and generally make things better, something I truly enjoy.
My friends and family describe me as caring, calm, nurturing, dependable, and silly – someone who truly believes in taking in even the smallest moments and really living in the present. I adore sunsets, chasing a moonrise, and searching for the stars. It’s not unlike me to call my sister or my aunt and, in an instant, take a drive to find a great view of nature. I am the one who brings people together – I love to cook and plan family dinners and always look for reasons to celebrate. I’ve been known to throw an epic family dinner party in honor of a silly date like 2/22/22!
I love decorating, crafting, gardening, and all things that make a home feel warm and loved. My dad taught me to build things with my hands, and my mom taught me to craft. Both taught me to build things with my heart – patience, resilience, and kindness. I am also passionate about photography, and you’ll often find me out and about with my camera in tow. I still print photos to share and to have in the house, as well as in my home office. I like old history and antiques and love modern technology as well, a good balance, I think, haha 🙂
When life gets busy or stressful, I find peace in walks with my dog, a scenic drive, a hike in the mountains, or time with my nieces and nephews. I love baking (often with my mom or a kiddo), spending weekends surrounded by family, and doing service work. As a future mom, I know these same moments will be even richer – watching your little one grow, learn, and find their place in this world.
Sasha
Sasha is my small, gentle Yorkie-Maltese mix who has been part of our family for twelve years. She is super soft, loyal, and goofy. She loved having Maliky in the house and was always making sure she knew where he was.
Sasha is very gentle and brings sweetness and smiles to everyone she meets.
My Mother, Linda
My mom, Linda, is my rock and my best friend. She is 79 years young and full of energy, humor, and love. She ran a daycare in our home for over 50 years and has cared for so many children in our community. Her heart is truly one of the biggest I know.
We do so much together – cooking, crafting, decorating, visiting family, volunteering, and talking on the porch over dessert and taking trips with one another.
Helping others is something deeply important to me. Together, my mom and I both love getting involved in community service, church events, and helping local families whenever we can. I want to raise your child to grow up with that same understanding – that kindness matters and helping others is one of life’s greatest gifts.
She can’t wait to be a Grandma again and is already dreaming of rocking a new baby to sleep in our home, which is the same home she grew up in and raised her own children in.
My Home, My Community
I live in a beautiful and close-knit village where people know and care for each other. Our area is surrounded by rolling hills, a creek with a large community area, great parks and schools, and family-run businesses. I served as Mayor of our village for nine years, and that gave me such pride in our community. We celebrate together often – from summer parades to winter festivals!
Our home is right in the center of town. It’s cozy, lively, and always smells like something good is baking in the oven. There is plenty of room inside and also a great outdoor space, including a large back porch, which is perfect for reading a book, taking an outdoor nap, or sharing stories on a warm evening. Our driveway is wide enough for kids to ride Power Wheels toys or learn to ride a bike – it’s also the perfect spot for sidewalk chalk masterpieces!
Our house has been in our family for over seven decades, so there is a real sense of history and belonging in every room. It just feels so inviting, loved, and lived in. Not perfect, but deeply happy. Most of all, our home is a revolving door of love and laughter. My sister, who lives next door, stops in daily, my aunts come by for coffee, and my nieces and nephews visit constantly to swim, help decorate, or just hang out. There is rarely a day that feels quiet here, and that’s exactly how I like it. Whoever walks through our door instantly feels comfortable – there is always a place at the table for them, and a feeling of belonging.
I have a dedicated office space for when I’m working from home, and my mom has a sunny sewing and craft room downstairs where she creates quilts and holiday projects for our family. The kitchen is truly the heartbeat of our house. It’s where we cook and bake together most nights and sit around the island sharing stories from our day. The smell of something delicious in the oven is almost constant.
I can already imagine what it will be like to raise your child here – rocking them to sleep in the quiet of the evening, watching them splash in the pool come summer, helping with homework at the kitchen counter, or baking cookies together during the holidays. This home has been a place of love, care, and connection for generations, and I can’t wait for your child to grow up surrounded by that same warmth, comfort, and joy.
My Loved Ones
Family means everything to me. I’m number five of six children (I used to think I wanted that many kids, too!), and my brothers and sisters are truly my best friends. We were raised to always put family first, and that’s exactly how we all live today – constantly talking, helping one another, and gathering for dinners, celebrations, and nights around the table or firepit.
My oldest brother, Donald Jr., passed away when he was 19, but his love and memory continue to fill our home. My oldest sister, Michelle, lives right next door. We share dinners, run errands together, and end most days talking and laughing. She has three grown kids. My sister Lorraine lives a few minutes away with her husband and their three children. We see each other constantly and love taking mini road trips, watching her kids play sports, and visiting their colleges. My brother Raymond lives about four hours away with his longtime girlfriend, who is also one of my closest friends from college. They are home quite often. He ALWAYS ALWAYS has a story. We can’t go to the convenience store without there being a story, lol.
My sister Clarissa and her husband, Curtis, live about an hour away with their two children, Eleanor and William. Clarissa and I have birthdays one day apart, and we have been celebrating together our whole lives.
My extended family, especially my aunts, is also a huge part of my everyday life. They live nearby and stop by often – sometimes for a meal, sometimes just to chat and check in, or ask for a technology-related favor like fixing their phone, ordering something online, etc.
My mom and her five sisters talk daily, and I see them most days. They fill our home with laughter, stories, and traditions that go back generations. They’ve always been like bonus moms to me, and grandmas to all the kids in our family.
I am very blessed that I am so close to all my nieces and nephews. I love them like my own, and I’ve been lucky enough to help raise them. Your child will grow up surrounded by so much love – cousins to play with, aunts and uncles to lean on, and a family who will always show up even for the smallest of things.
Adventures
Travel has always been part of my life. Growing up, my family took trips up and down the East Coast to see relatives, as well as train trips across the country to California and Colorado. I love exploring new places, from family visits to road trips to Disney World. These adventures brought so much laughter, teamwork, and memories.
I still take getaways both near and far with my mom and sisters – beach trips, city adventures, and visits to family. I am excited to show your child the world, encourage curiosity, and share travel traditions that blend fun with family.
Holidays & Traditions
We love to celebrate everything! Christmas is our biggest holiday – from Christmas Eve mass and our big buffet dinner to matching pajamas, a letter to Santa, and everyone’s favorite… the Christmas pickle hidden in the tree! Christmas morning means so much excitement, laughter, a big breakfast, and discovering surprises under the tree.
Easter brings baskets, egg hunts, and breakfast sandwiches after church. The Fourth of July is all about parades, sparklers, and poolside BBQs. Halloween turns our house into a fun neighborhood stop with themed decorations, cider, and donuts.
We also go big for birthdays. I love to decorate overnight so the birthday person wakes up to balloons and signs, making their favorite meals, planning an outing, and ending the night with a special gift. Even little things become an excuse to celebrate – like National Ice Cream Day!
Our traditions are built around joy, gratitude, and togetherness, and your child will be part of every single one. I am so excited to create new traditions and made-up holidays and reasons to celebrate with your child!
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me, my family, and our life together. I know that making an adoption plan takes incredible strength, love, and courage, and I truly respect your journey.
If I am chosen to be your child’s mother, I promise to give them a life rooted in unconditional love, laughter, security, and joy. They will always know where they came from and that their story began with the most selfless love imaginable.
My heart, my home, and my entire family are ready to love and cherish your child, always.
With love and gratitude,
Ashley
