Though the road to parenthood has not always been easy, adoption has always been front and center on our minds (and in our actual lives!) for quite a long time. We are both very personally connected to adoption – Carla’s three sisters were adopted! Adoption is what we have always known, and we believe it is based on the deepest kind of love. For us, love has never been tied to biology, and that has never felt truer. Family and loved ones are most important in our lives. To us, every living person and animal has a soul that longs to be cared for, loved, and heard. The process of adoption has been full of education, processing of emotions, change, and eagerness to grow as people who are dreaming of becoming parents.

Our hope for a baby in our lives is on our minds daily, and we can’t wait to have the privilege to raise your child and watch them grow into the most amazing version of themselves. Your baby will be raised with daily unconditional love. Weekly family gatherings of 25 family members with 10 children. Weekly family outings to explore different places. Sundays filled with homemade food, baking, laughing, talking, joking, and playing. Two vacations a year with extended family, and two additional vacations with just us. We are surrounded by loved ones who would do anything for us – the expression, “I will give you the shirt of my back if you need it” rings very true for our families.

Your child will grow up in an open-minded, loving, respectful, and fun house where we all grow together. We are full of love, wisdom, understanding, compassion, and most importantly, a willingness to learn along the way. They will learn from day one about their adoption story and how you made the hardest decision ever because you loved them with all of your heart. They will learn about your culture, traditions, and their adoption story will always be a part of us.
