How to Give Up a Baby for Adoption in New York

Step 2: Create an Adoption Plan
You’ll decide everything: who will adopt your baby, how much contact you want, and your hospital preferences.
Step 3: Receive Financial & Emotional Support
New York law allows birth mothers to receive help with rent, groceries, medical care, and more.
Step 4: Labor & Delivery Support
We’ll be there to ensure your wishes are respected and honored. You decide how much time you’d like to spend with your baby and the adoptive family.
Step 5: Ongoing Support After Adoption
Our care doesn’t stop after placement. We offer counseling, retreats, and post-adoption resources for as long as you need.
