Nadine
Dear Birth Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I recognize that considering an adoption plan is a deeply personal and emotional journey, and I have tremendous respect for the care and thought you are putting into making the decision that feels right for you and your child.
As you read my story, I hope you’ll get a sense of who I am—not only as someone who dreams of becoming a mother, but also as a person who values love, family, honesty, and compassion. My greatest hope is to provide your child with a home filled with unconditional love, encouragement, laughter, and the security to grow into the person they are meant to be.
I also hope that what I’m sharing with you here helps you to feel connected to me and gives you a glimpse into the life I would be honored to share with your child. If you choose me, I promise to cherish your child every day and to always recognize the incredible love and courage that shaped their story from the very beginning.
Thank you for considering me and for allowing me to share my heart with you. Whatever path you choose, I pray you always have peace, strength, and support as you move forward. I am grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself, and I hope that as you learn more about me, you’ll feel the love, commitment, and joy that I hope to share with a child.
With love and gratitude,
Nadine

My Adoption Story
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of becoming a mother. Even as a little girl, I imagined a home filled with love, laughter, traditions, and the joy of raising children. While my journey to motherhood has not unfolded exactly as I once envisioned, one thing has never changed—my desire to love and nurture a child with my whole heart.
What many people don’t know is that adoption has always been part of my dream. Long before I understood what my own path to parenthood would look like, I knew I wanted to adopt. I have always believed that family is built through love, commitment, and the bonds we create with one another—not solely through biology. In fact, even if I had biological children, I always hoped that adoption would be part of my family’s story. Opening my heart and home to a child through adoption has never been a second choice; it has always been one of the ways I envisioned becoming a mother.
My life has taught me that some of the deepest and most meaningful relationships are formed through love, kindness, and the people who choose to stand beside us. Growing up, I experienced the incredible gift of having people welcome my family with open arms and love us as their own. Those experiences shaped my understanding of what family truly means and inspired the kind of mother I hope to be.
My Promise
As you read my story, I hope you see that my desire to adopt comes from a place of love, intention, and gratitude. I recognize the trust involved in considering someone to parent your child, and I do not take that responsibility lightly.
If you choose me, I promise your child will grow up knowing they are deeply loved, celebrated, and cherished every single day. They will be raised in a home filled with laughter, encouragement, security, and unconditional love. I will nurture their unique gifts, support them through life’s challenges, and teach them the values that have guided my own life—kindness, compassion, generosity, faith, gratitude, and respect for others.
I also promise to honor the beginning of your child’s story with honesty, love, and gratitude. Your child will always know that their story began with you – the person who cared deeply for them and made thoughtful decisions out of love. I will speak of you with respect and appreciation, and I will always honor the important place you hold in their life story.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. It would be the greatest privilege of my life to love, guide, and support your child while always recognizing the extraordinary love that brought us together.
About Me
My friends and family would describe me as kind, funny, witty, optimistic, and, at times, quite talkative—I think that’s the teacher in me! I love to laugh and believe that life is meant to be enjoyed. While I take the important things in life seriously, I also know that some of the best memories come from being silly, finding joy in everyday moments, and not taking myself too seriously.
I was raised by an incredible single mother alongside my younger brother, who is still one of my very best friends. Although we grew up with modest means, our home was filled with love, laughter, and imagination. My mother taught us that the most meaningful things in life are not material possessions, but the relationships we build and the kindness we show others. Her generosity, compassion, and strong faith shaped the person I am today and continue to guide the way I live my life.
My faith in God is at the center of who I am and influences the way I love, serve, and care for others. Growing up, I experienced the beauty of being welcomed into a church community that became like family to us. Through them, I learned the importance of God’s love, grace, generosity, and treating every person with kindness and dignity. These Christian values continue to guide my decisions and the way I hope to raise a child—with love, compassion, gratitude, humility, and faith.
Today, I have the privilege of teaching fourth grade, a career I truly love. Every day, I get to encourage children as they learn, grow, and discover their unique strengths. My students teach me just as much as I teach them—they remind me of the importance of patience, curiosity, encouragement, and celebrating each child for who they are. Being a teacher has only deepened my desire to become a mother and has shown me the incredible impact that love and support can have on a child’s life.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me enjoying the simple things that bring me happiness. I love getting lost in a good book, spending time in my garden, watching movies, traveling, and making memories with my family and friends. Gardening is one of my favorite ways to relax because I love watching something grow with patience and care. I’m also a huge foodie and enjoy trying new restaurants and different cuisines—I’m definitely not a picky eater!
Family time is very important to me, and some of my favorite memories come from laughing together, sharing meals, and creating traditions. One of my favorite things to do is karaoke with my family. It doesn’t matter who has the best voice; what matters is the laughter, the fun, and the memories we create together. I hope to bring that same sense of joy, connection, and togetherness into my future family.
I also love learning new things and trying new experiences. There are so many hobbies I would love to explore, like sewing and learning how to play pickleball. I believe life is always more exciting when you stay curious and open yourself up to new adventures.
I have always been an animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. If I could rescue every dog in need, I probably would! I recently said goodbye to my sweet dog, Riley, after 16 wonderful years together. He was such a special part of my life, and I still miss him every day. When the time is right, I look forward to welcoming another furry friend into my family.
Above all, I value faith, family, laughter, kindness, and creating meaningful memories with the people I love. My hope is to build a home where a child feels safe, supported, and deeply loved—a home rooted in God’s love and filled with bedtime stories, family traditions, adventures, laughter, prayer, and all the little moments that become the memories we treasure most.
A Few Fun Facts About Me
I’m a little competitive!
I love games and gathering with family and friends for some friendly competition. Board games are a favorite, and I must admit—I consider myself a bit of a UNO pro! I love the laughter, playful trash-talking, and fun that comes with game night.
I love getting lost in a good book.
I love romance novels and cozy mysteries, and when I don’t have time to sit down and read, you’ll probably find me listening to an audiobook in the car.
Zumba is my kind of workout!
I love dancing and staying active, and Zumba is one of my favorite ways to do both. I will admit, though, that I’m much more confident dancing in the privacy of my own living room than in front of an audience!
I dream of becoming a children’s book author.
One of my dreams is to write a children’s book someday—and I’ve already drafted one! Maybe one day I’ll get to see it on a bookshelf. You never know what the future might hold!
I almost became a veterinarian.
I absolutely love animals, so if I hadn’t become a teacher, becoming a veterinarian was one of the careers I considered. But I eventually realized I might be a little too sensitive for the job. I would probably be the veterinarian crying right alongside the pet’s family!
I’m a Disney fan!
I love Disney movies, music, characters, and visiting the parks. There’s something about Disney that brings out the kid in me! I love the magic, the excitement, and all the little details that make it such a fun experience. I’m looking forward to sharing that magic with your child someday—and I have a feeling I’ll be just as excited about the rides, snacks, and character meet-and-greets as they are!
I Love Cruising!
One of my favorite travel experiences was taking a cruise! I loved exploring new destinations, enjoying the food and entertainment, and making memories along the way. One of my favorite moments was participating in a “Family Feud” game show onboard—my competitive side came out! It was so much fun laughing, cheering, and competing with everyone. I’d love to take another cruise someday!
Hook is one of my all-time favorites!
My brother and I watched Hook so many times growing up that we can practically recite the movie! 😂 It brings back some of my favorite childhood memories and is still one of those movies I never get tired of. I love the adventure, humor, and imagination, and the reminder that growing up doesn’t mean you have to lose your sense of wonder.
A Heart for Children
For more than 20 years, children have been a very special part of my life. I am a fourth-grade teacher, and I truly love what I do. Being a teacher has taught me so much about children—their unique personalities, their little victories, their challenges, and how important it is for every child to feel loved, encouraged, and believed in.
I know my experience working with children will be a wonderful part of who I am as a parent. I hope to give your child a home filled with patience, laughter, encouragement, and unconditional love. I want them to always feel safe being exactly who they are and know that I will be there to celebrate their accomplishments, comfort them through the hard days, and cheer them on every step of the way.
My career has also given me some very special friendships. Many of my fellow teachers have become close friends outside of work, and they have watched my dream of becoming a parent grow over the years. They are genuinely excited to share this journey with me and are already looking forward to welcoming your child into our circle of love and support.
While I will be a single parent, I am so grateful to have a wonderful community around me. Your child will not only have my love, but a group of family and friends who are excited to know them, celebrate them, and be part of their life.
After spending so many years caring for and cheering on children, I feel incredibly excited for the chance to bring that love home. I can’t wait to experience the everyday joys of parenthood and watch your child grow into the amazing person they are meant to be.
Home Sweet Home
My home holds a very special place in my heart. My brother and I inherited it from our mother after she passed away in 2016. Although my brother now has a home of his own with his wife and daughter, I am grateful to continue living in the home that carries so many wonderful memories of my mom.
My three-bedroom home in New York is warm, cozy, and truly my safe and happy place. It is located in a diverse, welcoming residential neighborhood near wonderful schools, parks, and libraries. After a long day of teaching, there is nothing I enjoy more than coming home, relaxing, and enjoying the comfort of my own space.
My home is also a place where people come together. I love having family and friends over for game nights, movie nights, backyard barbecues, and simply enjoying each other’s company. I look forward to filling my home with even more laughter, love, and memories.
I am excited to share this special place with your child—to create new traditions, explore our neighborhood, play, learn, laugh, and make memories together. Most of all, I hope my home will always be a place where your child feels safe, loved, comfortable, and free to grow into exactly who they are meant to be.
The Woman Who Shaped Me
My mom was so much more than just my mom—she was my best friend, my biggest supporter, and one of the most joyful people I have ever known. God used her to shape so much of who I am today, and I am incredibly grateful for the life and example she gave me.
Growing up, my mom taught my brother and me that you don’t need a lot to have a lot of fun. Our home was filled with laughter, and she had an incredible sense of humor that could make almost any situation more fun. She loved people and had a way of making others feel welcome and cared for. She was generous, compassionate, and always looking for ways to help someone else. She also had an adventurous side and loved experiencing life, whether that meant traveling, trying something new, or simply making memories together. Some of my favorite memories are the ordinary moments that became special because of her.
My mom always dreamed of having grandchildren, and I know she would have been absolutely overjoyed to be part of this journey with me. I can picture her excitement, her laughter, and all the ways she would have spoiled her grandchild with love. She would have been my biggest cheerleader and would have embraced your child with her whole heart.
Although she won’t be here to meet your child, I know she will always have a place in our family’s story. There are so many moments when I wish I could call her, tell her about this journey, and hear what she would say. I can only imagine the joy she would have felt knowing that I was working to make my dream of becoming a mom a reality. I hope to share stories about her, keep her memory alive, and let your child know just how deeply she was loved—even before they ever had the chance to meet her.
My Village
I feel incredibly blessed to have such a fun, loving, and supportive village around me. My family is made up of both relatives and people who started out as friends and, over the years, became family. At this point, we really can’t imagine it any other way! We’ve shared countless laughs, adventures, celebrations, and plenty of memories that we still talk about years later. We’ve also been there for each other through the harder seasons, always showing up when it matters most.
The people in my life are kind, dependable, fun-loving, and genuinely excited to welcome your child into our family. There will be no shortage of people ready to celebrate milestones, cheer at school events, share family traditions, take trips, have game nights, laugh until our stomachs hurt, and probably spoil your child a little along the way!
What means the most to me is knowing that your child will have so many people in their corner. They will grow up surrounded by a village that will encourage them, celebrate who they are, support them through life’s challenges, and be there for all the big and little moments along the way. I can already picture your child becoming a very loved and special part of our family, and I feel so grateful knowing they will have this wonderful community around them.
Adventures Ahead
Adventures Ahead
One of my favorite parts of life has been traveling and experiencing new places with the people I love. I enjoy learning about different cultures, trying new foods, meeting people, and discovering what makes each place unique. I’ve been blessed to visit some incredible places, including Greece, the Bahamas, Aruba, Jamaica, Wyoming, Puerto Rico, and Disney. What makes these experiences most special is sharing them with the people I love and creating memories together.
I also believe some of the best adventures can happen close to home—trying a new restaurant, exploring a new town, or taking a day trip. I can’t wait to share that sense of curiosity and adventure with your child.
I also hope to bring that same openness to our adoption journey. I want to honor your child’s story, background, and culture and encourage them to be proud of every part of who they are. I look forward to learning alongside them and helping them explore and celebrate their unique story.
There is still so much of the world to discover, and I’m excited for all the adventures ahead!
Family, Fun & Traditions
Family traditions and celebrations are some of my favorite things! I especially love the fall season and our annual outdoor harvest, where we gather with gratitude, enjoy delicious food and hot apple cider, make s’mores, and play fun games like bobbing for apples.
Giving back is also very important to our family. We enjoy organizing clothing, toy, and food drives and teaching children the joy of helping others. I hope to share this value with your child and help them understand the importance of kindness and generosity.
One of our newer traditions is backyard movie nights, where we put on our pajamas, bring our favorite snacks, and enjoy a funny movie under the stars. We also love celebrating the New Year together and traveling to Lancaster, PA, to see Bible stories come to life at Sight & Sound Theatre.
I look forward to sharing these traditions with your child, creating wonderful memories together, and starting new traditions of our own!

I also want you to know that you will not be forgotten. I will make sure your child knows where they came from, knows about you, and understands the love that surrounded their beginning. I will speak about you with kindness, honesty, and respect, and I will always honor the important place you will hold in their story.
Most of all, I look forward to giving your child a life filled with love, laughter, security, and support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for considering me and for allowing me to be a part of your journey.
