Olivia & Danielle

Hello! We are Danielle and Olivia, or as our friends and family call us, Dani and Livi. It is so nice to meet you!
First, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our story and learn a little more about us and the life we have built together. We can only imagine how overwhelmed you might feel right now, but we hope you know that you have our full support and respect. We may never fully understand everything you are experiencing, but our hearts are filled with gratitude for the possibility of being part of this journey with you.
We can’t wait to get to know you and for you to get to know us.
With much love and gratitude,
Livi & Dani

Our Adoption Story & Promise to You
Since the start of our relationship back in 2018, we have always been open with each other about wanting children. Soon after we got married, we decided we were ready to take the next step and started to really think about our options. It took no time at all for us to land on adoption as the perfect choice for us to become parents.
We feel very strongly that genetics do not play any part in our ability to love your child, and we are ready with open arms to provide everything we can so that your baby will grow up in a world of love.
The love that we have in our hearts for your child knows no bounds. We cannot wait to care for a child and share our lives with them. We hope to create a nurturing and loving environment full of game nights, watching our favorite shows and movies, rooting for our favorite sports teams, and spending time with our families.
We plan to raise your child with open minds, hearts, and lines of communication. We want your baby to live a life secure in their sense of self. Like our families who supported us, we are going to be an unwavering support to your child in their dreams for their future and surround them with unconditional love.

About Us
We met seven years ago on a dating app, and for our first date, we went to Starbucks – that’s when I had to break the news to Livi that I didn’t drink coffee but would happily buy her one! From there, we decided to head over to the movie theater right next door to see the female-led Oceans 8. After that, we ended up staying in the parking lot for hours, just talking.
Clearly, we had a lot in common (and a lot to say!). We have been inseparable ever since. We still go to the movies a lot together, especially on the anniversary of our first date. Every winter, we get an AMC A-List to see as many movies as we can, including the ones nominated for Oscars. Other things we enjoy doing together include playing board games, video games, pickleball, swimming, going out to dinner, and spending time with our family and friends.
A typical evening or weekend for us is pretty laid back. Livi does most of the cooking (her specialties are enchiladas, sausage & peppers, and lamb chops). Eating dinner together at the end of the day is important to us, as it is when we get to catch up on our day and just be together. Evenings are also a time for us to catch up on our shows like Survivor or Grey’s Anatomy, then take an evening walk, and finally spend time with our cat, Joanie.
On the weekends, we like to head into New York City for a Broadway show or to see a Mets game in the summer. We also go on weekend road trips and vacations a few times a year. Disney World is a hot spot for us – we love amusement parks, and it helps that our family has a place there for us to stay.
Maintaining and growing our relationships with our loved ones is the most important part of our social lives. We try to see our families and friends every week and see friends multiple times a month. The love and support we feel when we are surrounded by them helps us feel whole and ready for the week ahead.

About Olivia
written with love by Danielle
Livi is the most thoughtful and kind person I have ever known. She is always putting everyone before herself – from smaller details like thinking about what other people would like to do when making plans to just being the best and most supportive friend when those around her need someone to lean on. She is also the best gift giver – she always seems to know the perfect special something for everyone in our lives, and her gift-wrapping skills are pure perfection! She puts her heart into everything she does.
Livi is a graphic designer and works from home full-time. She has so much creative talent. She loves to draw, and my favorite is one she made of us with our sweet cat, Joanie. Livi is so easy to get along with and was immediately loved by my friends and family. She really lights up the room and is very easy-going. She is always down for a good time, enjoying listening to music, trying new things, and going on adventures.
Kids seem to naturally fall for Livi. We often babysit together for our cousins and friends’ kids, and I love watching her make up songs and dances and teach the kids how to draw. Her mom used to run a day care center in her home, so she grew up around babies (now her mom runs a school with programs for kids from two years old to Pre-K). Livi will be an incredible mother – she has a pure moral compass and will be the most positive role model to your child. I know Livi is ready to be a mom.
About Danielle
written with love by Olivia
Dani is the best friend anyone could ask for. She is extremely passionate about the people in her life and cares deeply for her friends and family. She has the mind of a steel trap, is very decisive, quick-witted, and has a strong sense of who she is. She is very open-minded, and I can always count on her to share her feelings openly with me.
Dani has a great competitive spirit, whether it’s in analyzing reality competition shows or playing board games, she is always aiming to do her best. She loves to listen to podcasts, plan trips, and go on walks in her free time.
Dani is as loyal as they come, and this is true when it comes to her career as well. She works in the insurance industry and has a great work-life balance. We are so lucky that she has a flexible work schedule and can work from home several days a week.
Dani is so excited to become a parent. She is the first person to visit when a friend or family member has had a baby. She is also the first to offer her babysitting services! I know Dani will be an active parent, encouraging play and learning throughout your child’s life. Since communication is so important to her, she will also have an extremely open and honest relationship with your child. Dani fully understands the responsibilities and care needed for your baby to thrive.
Home Sweet Home
We live on Long Island, where we own our home in a really safe and diverse community. As soon as we moved in, Livi made our house a home by repainting, installing shelving in our closets, and fixing the whole place up alongside her dad, Mike. We picked out furniture together and filled the walls with photos of us and our families. Our favorite room is the living room, where we spend the majority of our time. We often work from home, and that space is really perfect with the big windows and all the natural light. It has our TV, PlayStation, all of our games, and a huge couch for hosting family and friends. It is also filled with trinkets from every stage of our relationship, such as little gnomes our bridal party painted for us, photo albums, Funko Pops of us, and many, many cat toys.
Our community has some really great amenities, including a clubhouse with a gym, a gated swimming pool, a tennis/pickleball court, and a playground. We use the pool every summer and often play pickleball on the court. Our local area has a lot to do. We have many parks near us, including a lake with a beach only 5 minutes away. We live near some of the best schools, a sports complex, a big shopping mall, a variety of restaurants, and other stores. We have some favorite Mexican restaurants and our favorite dumplings within a 5-minute drive.
Our town hosts some amazing festivals throughout the year, including a bi-annual street fair every Memorial Day and Labor Day. We have access to the best of both worlds, the hustle-bustle activities of New York City and the more relaxed semi-rural life on the east end of Long Island.
Joanie
We have a one-year-old orange cat named Joanie. Livi grew up with cats and dogs, but Joanie is a first pet for Dani. She has totally and completely changed Dani’s life and opened her heart in ways she never knew existed. Joanie loves to play, and she always wants to be with us. If we are in the kitchen cooking, she is there. If we are in the living room watching TV, she watches with us. If we’re eating, she loves to eat alongside us. She instantly became a part of the family, and even Dani’s Grandma, who never liked cats before, asks for Joanie’s pictures every day. She is shy around new people but warms up quickly and will let anyone pet her, play with her toys, and especially give her treats. She is the sweetest and most gentle pet and is great with kids of all ages.
Our Loved Ones

We are incredibly lucky to have close family living near us, including both sets of our parents, our grandmothers, and Dani’s little brother, Adam. We go to Livi’s family for BBQs most weekends, and they host a variety of birthdays and holidays for the extended family. They are the warmest and most welcoming people, often including Dani’s family to join in casual get-togethers and celebrations, joining our two families into one.
We see Dani’s family every Wednesday night to play Catan and watch Survivor. We also take annual vacations with them. We are both very close with Dani’s brother, Adam, and enjoy spending time together. We go bowling, mini golfing, and love watching his basketball games. Olivia’s sister Emily and brother-in-law Bryan live in Florida, but they visit often and join in on all the fun.
Over the past few years, we have truly blended our friend circles together. We are still close with our friends from both high school and college. Some activities we enjoy together are playing board games, doing escape rooms, seeing musicals and plays, and playing in fantasy football leagues. Mostly, we just enjoy hanging around someone’s house or getting all-you-can-eat sushi.
These past two years, a few of our friends have had little ones, and we love spending time with them. Everyone was thrilled to hear about our adoption journey and has been incredibly supportive. Both sides of our families love children, and this would be the first grandchild for all of our parents. Your child will be surrounded by so much love from the most important people in our lives.
Holidays & Traditions

We both come from families who love the holidays, but nobody more than Livi’s family. They redecorate their home for every holiday, even small ones like Valentine’s Day and the change of seasons. Everything gets swapped out, like the hand towels or lawn ornaments, with each new holiday. They also host gatherings for our extended family, we celebrate birthdays and holidays together, the biggest one being Christmas.
Every year, we have a gingerbread house-making contest, which is our absolute favorite tradition. Dani’s family gets together for the Jewish holidays every year, but their favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, when we test out a new soup recipe every year and watch the football game. It is always a time that feels very happy and peaceful for us. We also celebrate some holidays with friends – July 4th being the biggest, we always make sure to have a pool party and BBQ with some s’mores.
We are so excited to continue these celebrations and create new ones as a family of three!
Fun and Games!
We know it doesn’t sound like much of a hobby, but we are really into reality competition shows. Dani grew up watching shows like Big Brother, Survivor, and The Challenge. Livi got hooked in no time, and it’s become our thing. And these days, we don’t just watch the shows – we create them! During the COVID lockdown, when we had a lot of time on our hands, we started creating mini game shows on Zoom for our friends. This really took off and led us to meet people from all across the world who love competing in online game shows.
There are no prizes – it’s just people who love these shows getting a shot at playing from home. It is a good creative outlet for Dani to come up with competitions and themes. Livi creates all the graphics and videos to make the games come to life. It is fun getting to work together in this way. Creating these games shows us how to be a team and work off each other’s strengths and interests.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to learn more about us. We understand this is a tough decision. We really admire your strength and are here to respect your wishes for an adoption plan. We are ready to support you during this time and encourage whatever you believe to be the best fit for your baby. We are extremely grateful for this opportunity and want you to know that we are beyond ready to love and care for your child unconditionally.
Sending you much love,
Livi & Dani
